Pastor: God dwells in you.
All: And also in you.
Pastor: Come to the table with thankful hearts.
All: We open our hearts to God and to one
another.
Generous
creator God, you made order from chaos, light from darkness, the whole great
unknowable majesty of the cosmos. In
the fullness of time, you made the Earth, our fragile island home, with all
its wondrous beauty and diversity of life.
You gave us the gift of humanity—bodies, minds and souls—so that we
could be faithful stewards of your bounteous gifts and gifts to one another.
Showered
by blessings beyond measure, we continually turned away from you and against
one another, rejecting your gifts and our giftedness and walked the lonely
ways of temptation, death and destruction.
Prophets
came to remind us of your limitless love and generosity, but in fear we
rejected the their insight and understanding.
Then,
in your fathomless generosity, you gave us Jesus, one of us and one with you,
a sign and symbol of your freely-given redemption and grace.
So,
together with those who have come before us and all the generations yet to
come, we lift our voices to your everlasting praise:

Holy
are you, God of majesty, and blessed is Jesus Christ, source of life and
hope. When he told stories of your
grace; when his perfect nature showed us we could cast off sin’s fears; when
he went down into the dust of death that we might be reshaped in your image,
it was in those moments that the breadth and depth of your love were revealed
for all time.
So,
as we come to the table, as we remember Christ’s life and death and sing of
his resurrection, we proclaim the mystery of faith:
All

is risen.
Christ
will come again.
Cristo murió.
Cristo resucito.
Cristo vendrá nuevamente.
When
we gather at the Table,
where your Spirit has been poured out upon the generous gifts of bread and
cup;
when we are strengthened by the bread, and
then go forth to work so the poor can eat and be satisfied; when grace overflows from the cup and like
a roaring river, carries justice
into all the places of inequity and oppression; when your hope casts out all
our fears,so we can stand beside our sisters and brothers: it is in these moments that your sanctifying love is revealed for all
time.
And when all moments have stopped, all the ends of creation will remember
your grace; when gifts and giver are
joined as one around the feast of the lamb; our hearts will sing with
everlasting love, God in community, Holy in One.

Pastor: Vengan a la mesa con corazones agradecidos.
Todos/as: Abrimos nuestros corazones a Dios y unos a
otros.
Generoso Dios creador, hiciste el orden desde el
caos, luz de la oscuridad y la gran majestad desconocida del cosmos.
En la plenitud del tiempo creaste la tierra, nuestra
frágil isla llamado hogar, con todas sus maravillosas bellezas y diversidad
de vida.
Nos diste el regalo de la humanidad –cuerpos, mentes
y almas- para que podamos ser fieles mayordomos de tus ilimitados regalos y
ser regalos unos a otros.
Nos bañaste con bendiciones sin medida, pero
continuamente caminamos lejos de ti y lejos de los unos a los otros,
rechazando tus regalos y nuestros talentos y caminamos por los caminos vacios
de tentación, muere y destrucción.
Los profetas vinieron a
recordarnos de tu amor sin límite y generosidad pero en nuestro temor rechazamos
su entendimiento.
Entonces en tu
insondeable generosidad nos diste a Jesús, uno de nosotros y de tí mismo como
señal de tu libre gracia y redención.
Así que junto con
aquellos que han venido antes que nosotros y con aquellas generaciones que
han de venir levantamos nuestras voces hacia ti en una eterna alabanza.

Santo eres tu Dios lleno
de majestad y bendito tu hijo Jesucristo fuente de esperanza. Cuando el nos
conto historias de tu gracia. Cuando en su naturaleza perfecta nos mostro que
podíamos lanzar lejos los temores del pecado, cuando bajo al polvo de la
muerta para que seamos cambiados a tu imagen, fue en esos momentos cuando la
grandeza y la profundidad de tu amor fueron revelados para todos los tiempos.
Así que venimos a esta mesa
recordando la vida y muerte y resurrección de Cristo y proclamamos el
misterio de nuestra fe.

Christ

Christ
will come again.
Cristo murió.
Cristo resucito.
Cristo vendrá nuevamente.
Cuando nos reunimos a la
mesa donde tu espíritu ha sido derramado en los regalos del pan y la copa.
Y cuando seamos
reforzados por el pan vayamos a trabajar para que el pobre pueda comer y sea
satisfecho y cuando la gracia que rebosa de la copa como un rio que lleva
consigo justicia a todos los lugares de injusticia y opresión ; y cuando la
esperanza arroje lejos todos nuestros temores para que podamos estar junto a
nuestros hermanos y hermanas, es en esos momentos cuando tu amor santificador
es revelado por todos los tiempos.
Y cuando todos los
momentos paren, todos los confines de la creación recordaran tu gracia;
cuando los regalos y los que dan sean unidos en uno solo alrededor del banquete
del cordero de Dios; nuestros corazones cantaran con amor eterno Dios en
comunidad, santo en uno.
